Better employee communication with the ALEAS Databoard
Successful communication is an important success factor in many companies. The management of Säntis Packaging AG was therefore looking for a modern alternative to provide production staff with up-to-date information. Since not every employee works at a computer, e-mail is not a suitable primary means of communication and information sheets on the notice board are easily lost and attract little attention.
The ALEAS team developed an efficient and cost-effective solution: Several Databoards were installed in the break room. These are controlled by an ALEAS Mini-PC. No additional hardware is required except for the screens. Via a particularly easy-to-use web interface the content can be exchanged with just a few clicks. The databoards are updated automatically at individually definable time intervals and are therefore always up-to-date.
The big advantage: Any kind of content can be displayed on the Databoards, whether graphics, texts, photos or videos. At Säntis Packaging, for example, current production data from various data sources are graphically displayed on one screen, while another one is used as a digital bulletin board. In response to recent events, tips on how to protect against the COVID-19 infection and videos on how to wash your hands properly have been added. In brief: The application possibilities are virtually infinite.
