Agile approaches have proven their worth not only in the light of the Covid-19 pandemic. We live in a dynamic, fast-moving world – flexibility is therefore a must. In software development agile processes, such as Scrum, are already standard. Based on STAGILE® Projects we have been successfully implementing agile methods in hardware development as well. With STAGILE® Management we have now created a link to the management floor and show you how you can use agile thinking and incorporate new management methods organization-wide. We combine the best elements from different methodologies (including Management 3.0, Lean, Scrum, etc.) into a proven framework.

Even if projects withing the company are already realized with agile methods, many managers hold on to traditional approaches. Why is that? The advantages of “agile” in management become apparent after a short time. Certain components of our hybrid framework STAGILE® are especially recommended for this variant – among others, result-oriented planning with Sprint and Masterplan, definition of Sprint goals with focus on goal achievement (“getting things done”), regular short alignment meetings (Scrum), integrated risk and opportunity management and conscious continuous improvement (based on Lessons Learned).

With STAGILE® Management we pay special attention to strategy implementation. Important strategic milestones are defined and appropriate steps to reach the goals are fixed. By means of periodic update meetings (Where are we? Where do we need to move forward? etc.) we ensure that strategic goals are not overshadowed by daily business, but are consistently pursued and adapted to changing conditions if necessary. This enables us to react quickly and effectively to unforeseen events – such as a global pandemic – or disruptive market changes.

In the past we have implemented STAGILE® Management in small, medium and large companies. The feedback is consistently positive. STAGILE® continues to be used successfully by all clients, none of them have returned to the “old” methods. Managers now work with the same approaches as their project staff and enjoy the same benefits: Better communication, clear goals and priorities, faster decisions, better results, more even distribution of tasks and a significant reduction in administrative activities. Our “Continuous Improvement” process, which systematically addresses and resolves problems in the organization, is particularly appreciated.

The transition from traditional management methods to STAGILE® Management is smooth. In a short kick-off workshop the whole team gets to know the methodology.
